Child Care Fee Reduction Initiative (CCFRI):

We are pleased to inform you that Wise Beans Childcare has been approved to participate in The Child Care Fee Reduction Initiative (CCFRI). The CCFRI is a government-funded program aimed at providing financial support to families accessing licensed child care services. Its primary objective is to reduce child care fees and alleviate the financial burden on parents while ensuring high-quality care for children. As an approved provider under this initiative, Wise Beans Childcare will offer reduced child care fees to eligible families, enabling them to access our exceptional early childhood education and care services.

Parents who opt for licensed childcare providers, like Wise Beans Childcare, can save up to $900 per month per child on their monthly tuition fees. No application is required to access this BC daycare subsidy. Once enrolled in our program, your child will automatically receive this discount.

Please be aware that the subsidy amount you are eligible for is determined by the age of your child and whether they are in full- or part-time care, rather than being based on your family household income.

The Affordable Child Care Benefit (ACCB):

Under the BC daycare subsidy program, families with a household income of less than $111K are eligible to receive up to $1,250 per child per month for child care. The exact amount granted is determined by factors such as the age of the child(ren), the size of the family, and the type of care required. To avail of this benefit, families must apply directly to the provincial government and renew their application annually.

To ensure timely assistance, it is essential to apply for funding before the end of the month in which you require child care. For example, if you wish to receive funding for child care starting on September 1, you must submit your application by September 30.
